Enrich your teaching practice with a mentorship with Tim Kelleher this fall. This new model for mentorship combines the richness of group study with the personalized attention of private instruction.

Simply put, yoga is the process of learning to see clearly.  You must recognize what is holding you back before you can free yourself to more deeply impact your students, and remain interested and engaged in your work.

Tim will offer guidance, support and high standards to help hone your voice, inspire your students, and thrive in your teaching career.

TOGETHER:

We will meet as a small group monthly to cover topics pertaining to all teachers, using the group meetings to build community and support amongst peers. Group sessions will take place Wednesdays from 3-5 in Jamaica Plain and include a yoga philosophy competent each meeting.  Additionally there will be focus on:

Advanced adjustments – imbuing your touch with teaching

Beyond the “cue” – Create personal dialogue with your students and layer actions to move beyond instruction into teaching

Entrepreneurship – Build a sustainable, diverse business and avoid burnout

Dharma Talks – Imbue your classes with meaningful, useful spiritual teaching

Advanced sequencing – Find freedom in structure and create transformative experiences

Refining your voice - What does authenticity sound like, and how do you amplify your message

INDIVIDUALLY:

Four individual one-on-one sessions will address issues specific to your development as a teacher and explore further the topics you care deeply about.  Two additional sessions will involve Tim attending one of your classes in order to offer rigorous (but loving) feedback.  Working individually with Tim, you will develop the curriculum for your private sessions and schedule them during the duration of the program.

GROUP MEETINGS:

COMMITMENT:
